Hello.

Any one knows the price of the 1.6 HDi turbo?

I know one person that put the 1.6 Hdi turbo on a 1.4 Hdi motor and the car is like flying (with turbo, repro, boost controler, IC,..)!

Thank you.

Hi!!

First thing to know here, is that most of french (pseudo) tunerz prefer to watch their dick into a mirror, so they also prefer to put first big bumpers and chrome insert or SS fuel trap before to improve engine power or handling. :D

About that , I don't know really, but this is a recent part in peugeot acessories, and that kind of part are usually quite expensive. Then , engine are based on a different engine bloc/head... Think also about the overall kit (IC, piping), rest of the configuration may be managed by a chip tuner.

But if anyone still did that, it must be possible. Don't forget the lag, because 1.6 turbo is bigger than 1.4, and you'll probably loose 200/300 rpm of response.

Anther good thing would be to adapt a Citroen C3 1.4 hdi ECU/turbo management because it's 92bhp stock on the same bloc. I don't know if internal are the same.

I say what I'm seeing on this forum, that changed so much this a year...

People like paradise didn't even listen to people that are advising them, becuase this is based on criticism that doesn't go in their way. Anyway, "I forbid this on my topic because your don't complain with me or You don tell i've a great car".

Fuck them.

Greg MP is right. :oui:

But i think there is a little difference between 1,4HDI 70 and 92, Eight valves!

Perhaps you can change only the ¿cylinder cover? (Culasse) to have 16v on your engine.

Indeed, changing that or the whole engine could be a good begining! :bien:

Then, you can change turbo and put an intercooler. Or do it now if you cant't afford engine switching/modification. :bah:

Yes, I am one of those who only changes appearence of my car and do not touch the engine, but I must get it to look a little better if i don't want to bear it like it is actually for 500000km!

Hello, even if we have the price of a 1,6HDI engine, I don't think that it will be very useful for you, because it may differs from other countries :bah:

Don't spend too much time on this kind of changes on a peugeot car :rs: If you want to have more power, change your car :W

Hello.

Thank you for all answers.

My car 1.4 hdi have now 92 bhp because I chaneg the ECU. Yes, I have problems if police find and they send the car to a dyno to see if the car has been changed. I think I will only put more an IC, because a new turbo is very expensive.

Thank you.
