Do you know if the car has a new body shell? There is some stuff that doesn't look original.

well i dont have further informations because this car participates only in rally sprints the last 2 years

probably some parts are not original because the motorsport part of local importer closed at mid 80s

The Australian car is one I have only seen in photos. The small wheel arch flares were developed by our local Datsun rally team in 1980, and were fitted to works cars here in 1980/81.

Ah ha! That is the car that mine is a replica of. It was a works car that won our Australian Rally Championship in 1981.

They are excellent Safari photos, well done!

 

This must be 1978 and the debut of the PA10 in international rallies. It looks so clean! Note they haven't even fitted the rear mudflaps yet.
