In June, Dutch car sales are up 52% year-on-year to 76,813 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 332,122 units, back in positive on 2011 at +1%. These figures reflect a sales pull forward due to some subsidies on low-emission cars coming to an end on July 1. The Renault Megane has benefitted fully from the measures in place, lodging another astounding month at 3,833 sales and 5% share (after 5.3% in May). It is now #3 year-to-date with 9,509 units and 2.9%. Similarly, the VW Passat jumps up a massive 19 spots on last month to #2 with 3,561 sales and 4.6% and is now #6 YTD. The VW Polo, still leader YTD at 12,253 units and 3.7%, ranks third in June with 2,311 sales and 3%.

The Chevrolet Spark is up 33 ranks on last month to #4 with 2,298 units and 3% followed by the BMW 3 Series in excellent shape again at 2,052 sales and 2.7%. Notice also the Opel Agila up 9 spots to #8. The Peugeot 208 takes off and gains 20 ranks on last month to #11, the Audi A4 is up 4 to #12 and the Chevrolet Aveo is up 21 to #19. As predicted by Rutger last month, the Volvo C30 is another beneficiary of the low-emission subsidies and comes from outside the Top 100 directly to #23 in June with 1,131 sales and 1.5%.

Taiwanese car sales are down 7% year-on-year in June to 30,278 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 185,898 units, down 1% on 2011. The Toyota Corolla celebrates its 13th consecutive month atop the models ranking with 2,750 sales and 9.1% share, it is of course #1 year-to-date with 18,465 units and 9.9%. The Nissan Tiida is up 4 spots on May to #2 with 1,366 sales and 4.5% but is still only #4 year-to0-date vs. #2 in 2011. The Toyota Camry rounds up the podium at 1,332 units and 4.4% and stays #2 year-to-date with 9,440 sales and 5.1%.

Solid month for the Toyota Wish at #4 and the Nissan Livina at #5, while the Mitsubishi Colt Plus is up 4 spots to #6 and the Mitsubishi Lancer Fortis is up 7 to #7 at 949 units and 3.1%. Thanks to the new generation, the Honda Civic is back up to #11 with 703 sales and 2.3%, whereas the Hyundai Elantra is up to a brilliant 13th place.

The Hungarian car market continues to recover, up 20% year-on-year over the first 6 months of 2012 at 27,787 registrations. The Opel Astra is the most popular model over the period with 1,713 sales and 6.2%, split between 966 of the previous generation H model and 747 of the J model. The Skoda Octavia, leader in 2011, is #2 with 1,591 units and 5.7%.

The Suzuki Swift confirms it is back in the game in third position with 1,140 sales and 4.1% share. If it holds this ranking until the end of the year it will be the first Suzuki to rank on the podium since 2008 when the Swift was the best-seller. The Ford Focus, Dacia Duster and Renault Fluence follow. Notice also the VW Polo up to #13, the Kia Cee’d up to #16 and the Fiat Grande Punto up to #19.

New car sales in the Philippines are up 5% year-on-year over the first 5 months of 2012 to 63,769 registrations. Like it has been the case since 2008, the Toyota Vios is the favourite car in the country with 6,325 sales and a very solid 9.9% market share. The Toyota Innova is catching up however thanks to its facelift, at #2 with 5,848 units and 9.2%. Excellent score as well for the Mitsubishi Montero Sport (aka Challenger) at #3 with 4,916 sales and 7.7%.

The third Toyota in the Filipino Top 4 is the Toyota Fortuner at #4 with 4,560 unit and an excellent 7.2% share. The Philippines is Mitsubishi’s best country in the world: the brand ranks #2 behind Toyota and places 4 models in the Top 12. The locally-built Mitsubishi Adventure ranks 5th with 2,773 sales and 4.3% ahead of the Toyota Avanza at 4.2%.

The Isuzu Crosswind, also manufactured in the Philippines, is #7 with a strong 4.1% markets share, while the Hyundai Accent is now the 2nd best-selling passenger car after the Toyota Vios at #8, passing the Honda City down to #9. Notice also the Toyota Hiace at #10 and the Mitsubishi Strada (aka L200 or Triton) at #12.

As usual car sales figures for Turkey are available with one month delay and in May the market slows down its fall at -10% year-on-year to 50,460 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 193,641 units, down 17% on 2011. In the models ranking the Fiat Linea is in pole position for the 4th month in a row and the 5th time in the last 6 months with a very solid 3,494 sales for a 6.9% market share. With the Renault Symbol down to #4 and the Renault Fluence down to #6 this month, the Linea reinforces its 2012 year-to-date leadership with 12,204 units and 6.3% vs. 5.3% for the Symbol and 5.2% for the Fluence.

Excellent month for the Ford Fiesta up 2 spots to #2 with 3,197 sales and 6.3%, its best position since last November. The Opel Astra Hatchback climbs onto the podium for the first time since last December with 2,428 units and 4.8%, while the VW Polo is up 11 spots on April to #5 with 2,107 sales and 4.2%. Notice also the Nissan Qashqai up 6 ranks to #12 and the Opel Astra Sedan (#17) and Renault Clio Station Wagon (#18) making an appearance in the Top 20. The BMW 5 Series is at a brilliant 25th place with 547 sales and 1.1%.

New car sales in Czech Republic are holding up extremely well: +12% year-on-year in June to 18,140 registrations and +7% year-to-date at 94,233 units. The Czech models ranking is potentially on the eve of a once-in-a-decade change of guard, similar to when the Skoda Fabia relinquished the Czech pole position to the Octavia in 2009 after 9 years of reign. The all-new Skoda Rapid has just been unveiled and had its very first 30 units registered in June (#100). Slotted between the Fabia and Octavia in size and price it is destined to tremendous success here and I predict it will at least jump on the podium in the next few months, and could even have a go at the top spot…

In June, below the Octavia (13.2% share) and Fabia (7.7%), the Hyundai i30 new generation excels once again at #3, its third time on the Czech podium in the last 4 months. With 706 sales and 3.9% it lodges the highest market share of any foreign model in the last 12 months (albeit produced locally). The latest best scores for imported models were delivered by the Ford Focus at 4.5% in March and June 2011 and the Renault Thalia at 4.4% in February 2011, but the recent record is still in the hands of the… Hyundai i30 at 6.1% in October 2010.

Even though this month it ‘only’ has 5 models in the Top 8, Skoda passes an important milestone: in the 2012 year-to-date ranking it manages to place 5 models in the Top 6 for the very first time in the history of the brand in a cumulative ranking! Below the Octavia and Fabia, the Superb ranks #4, the Yeti #5 and the Roomster #6 thanks to an excellent 4th place this month.

The Hyundai ix35 also breaks a record and reaches its highest ever ranking in Czech Republic at #7 with 372 sales and 2.1%, beating the #9 rank it reached last December. Other great performers this month include the Seat Ibiza up 8 spots to #9, the Skoda Citigo reaching its best ranking so far at #14, the Opel Astra up 7 ranks to #19, the Mercedes C-Class up a massive 93 to #32, the Honda Civic up 11 to #42, the Hyundai i40 up 56 to #44, the BMW 3 Series up 52 to #47 and the Audi Q3 up 23 to #53.

The South African car market continues all guns blazing, up 16% year-on-year in June to 51,891 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 301,499 units, up 10% on 2011. The Toyota Hilux is back in the top spot for the 4th time this year with 3,067 sales and 5.9% share, identical to its 2012 year-to-date share at 17,768 units. The VW Polo Vivo is back down to #2 with 2,633 sales and 5.1% ahead of the VW New Polo at 2,326 units and 4.5%.

But the big event is in fourth place: after landing directly at a brilliant #7 last month for its first month of sales in the country, the Toyota Etios improves further and lodges a very impressive 2,105 sales for a 4.1% market share in June, more than double the next best-selling Toyota passenger car – the Corolla/Auris at 992 units and #13. The Etios has truly found its market in South Africa and could aim at a podium spot as early as next month…

Surtout que Renault vend déjà dans quelques pays en conduite à droite...

C'est incohérent de lâcher un si gros marché que ça. Surtout qu'ils veulent lancer Dacia qui sera surement vendu dans le réseau Renault.

Hyundai-Kia (il serait temps que l'acea les groupe ) vend autant que le groupe Fiat, juste la moitié de PSA

Hyundai seul vend autant que Toyota ou Nissan

Mercedes vend autant que Fiat

Alfa Romeo est presque mort.

Opel et Ford souffrent de leur position en Italie.

Fiat à -17,5%

Peugeot et opel -15%

 

Ford résiste mieux à -10%, et comme d'hab les marques vw (sauf seat -15%) s'en tirent très bien

Il y a des marques que j'affectionne plus que d'autre. Et bon nombre de mauvaise langue donnait Renault pour mort il y a peu...

Mais sur le mois de Juin la tendance est nettement meilleur. Ca s’améliore. Au contraire d'autre, comme Ford, Opel, Fiat ou Peugeot qui continuent leur descente infernale.

Renault remonte a la 2éme place et la pdm est supérieur à celle du cumul. Je sais pas si ça va continuer mais il y a du mieux.

On parlait du marché Français, on t'avait mis le lien.... effectivement Renault s'était repris en Juin comme annoncé, et bizarrement tu n'as pas répondu sur le coup.... bizarre, non ? et tu oses parler de "talibans" et venir claquer du beignet 15 jours après ? .... c'est l'hôpital qui se fout de la charité !

France-Auto-Recul de 0,9% des immatriculations en juin-CCFA :

PARIS, 2 juillet (Reuters) - Les immatriculations de voitures neuves en France ont baissé de 0,9% en juin en données brutes et de 5,6% en données corrigées des jours ouvrables, a annoncé lundi le Comité des constructeurs français d'automobiles (CCFA).

Il s'est immatriculé 208.225 voitures particulières neuves dans l'Hexagone le mois dernier, un mois qui a compté un jour ouvrable de plus que juin 2011.

Sur les six premiers mois de l'année, la baisse du marché automobile français ressort à 14,4% en données brutes et à 13,7%

en données CJO.

Les immatriculations du groupe PSA PEUP.PA ont reculé de 9,5% en juin en données brutes, avec une baisse de 11,8% pour la marque Peugeot et un repli de 6,9% pour Citroën. Le groupe RenaultRENA.PA a vu pour sa part ses immatriculations rebondir de 9,5%, avec un gain de 3,6% pour la marque au losange et une forte hausse de 43,7% pour la marque low cost Dacia.
